At IllumeAI ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use our AI-powered image generation and editing service.

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials.
User Content (AI Inputs): We collect the text prompts, reference images, and sketches you upload to generate or edit content. This includes mask data for in-painting and background removal requests.
Generated Content: We store the images generated by the Service associated with your account history.
Payment Information: We do not store full credit card numbers. All payment transactions for subscriptions and tokens are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
Usage Data: We collect metadata regarding your usage, such as IP address, browser type, and the volume of tokens consumed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize your data for the following specific purposes:

To generate and edit images based on your prompts.
To manage your token balance, subscription status, and billing history.
To improve our AI models and service quality (e.g., analyzing failed generations to improve system stability).
To communicate with you regarding service updates, security alerts, or account issues.

4. AI Processing and Third Parties

IllumeAI utilizes both proprietary and third-party Artificial Intelligence models to process your requests.

Image Processing: By using the service, you acknowledge that your uploads and prompts are processed by AI algorithms. While we implement strict security measures, you should avoid uploading sensitive personal, medical, or confidential data in your prompts or source images.
Service Providers: We share data with trusted third parties solely to operate the service, including cloud hosting providers (for storage and compute) and payment processors (Stripe).

5. Data Retention and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your generated images and upload history are stored securely. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may delete your account and associated generated history at any time via the account settings page.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar browser storage in two categories. Necessary storage is required for the Service to work — it keeps you signed in and remembers your cookie choice. It is used without consent because the Service cannot function without it. Analytics cookies help us understand how the Service is used; they are only set after you agree, and we ask for that consent after you sign in.

Payments are handled on Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages. We do not run Stripe scripts on our own pages, so any cookies Stripe sets are set on Stripe's own domain and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this site, or in the account menu inside the app. Withdrawing analytics consent stops the collection and removes the analytics cookies already stored in your browser. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
